Election Day

I'm going to vote in the next elections because I think it's something very important, that way I can express my opinion and support the ideals that I think are best for the country.
I think that electoral campaigns are always the same. Politicians always promise a lot of wonderful stuff to catch votes, finally most of those promises can not be achieved.
For me, a person who wants to run for a public position must be someone to trust, a respectable person, must care about the interests and necessities of the country and all the people, not for his own ambitions.
I think it would be awesome to get involved in politics to make changes, make our politics fairer and more honest and do something good for our nation, but I think I will never do that.
Some critics I can make about the electoral campaigns in my district are: I think that it's not necessary to fill the streets with signs an flyers that most of people end up throwing on the ground, I also believe that words of hate are the worst way to adress the people because you end up inspiring hate and some people start to think like that and that's very worrying. And well there is a lot more I would like to say about this subject but basically this is my opinion.
